When this model is the activating model, and in BtB with an Enemy model, before any Melee Exchange, Kato may make an Opposed Ki Test against the Enemy model. If Kato is successful place a number of Control Markers on the Target’s profile card equal to the number of Ki Tokens currently on this model then remove this model from play.

Rulings:

A Kami Model spending Ki does not count as it taking damage.
